Community Guidelines

Safety, Respect, Trust

These guidelines explain what is allowed on StreamHub, how we keep the community safe, and what happens when content or behavior violates policy. They apply to videos, comments, profiles, and any other features on the platform.

Introduction

These standards exist to protect viewers, creators, and the wider community.

We prioritize safety, legality, consent, and transparency. Content or behavior that puts users at risk, violates the law, or undermines trust may be removed and can lead to account enforcement.

The moderation team reviews reports and signals, and we may take action even without a report when policy violations are clear.

Prohibited Content

The following categories are strictly prohibited and will be removed.

Zero tolerance: minors

Any sexual content involving minors or ambiguous age will be removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.

  • Sexual minors risk or exploitation of any kind.
  • Hate speech, threats, or targeted harassment.
  • Illegal content, trafficking, or facilitation of crime.
  • Self-harm promotion or suicide encouragement.
  • Doxxing, stalking, or non-consensual exposure.
  • Non-consensual or coerced content.
  • Violent extremism, recruitment, or glorification.

Spam & Misleading Behavior

We remove content that manipulates engagement or deceives users.

  • Mass posting, link spam, or automated bot behavior.
  • Misleading metadata, fake previews, or deceptive claims.
  • Engagement manipulation or coordinated abuse.

Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for accurate labeling and lawful uploads.

  • Label content accurately and choose correct visibility.
  • Maintain proof of consent and legality for all submissions.
  • Respond to moderation requests within the required timeframe.

Reporting & Moderation Flow

Reports are reviewed by moderators and mapped to enforcement actions.

  • Use the report button on videos or comments to submit a report.
  • Reports are triaged, reviewed, and assigned a status (open, under review, resolved, or rejected).
  • Outcomes can include removal, warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity.

Report reasons map to guideline sections so creators and moderators have a shared reference point.

Enforcement & Appeals

We match enforcement to severity and provide appeal channels where applicable.

  • Severe violations result in immediate removal and account action.
  • Repeat violations or evasion can result in permanent bans.
  • Appeals may be available through in-app forms or moderation contact flows when provided.

Community Participation

Respectful behavior is required across comments, reactions, and profiles.

  • Harassment, threats, or hate speech are not allowed.
  • Repeated violations can lead to suspensions or bans.
  • Rate limits and enforcement apply to abusive behavior.

Changes to Policy

We update guidelines to reflect new risks and legal requirements.

  • Major updates are announced within the product.
  • We maintain version history and effective dates.
  • Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the latest guidelines.
